Blue Air announces ‘flash sale’ as it unveils new route from Liverpool to Palma de Mallorca

Flights will start on June 2 with twice weekly departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays through to the end of September 2018 and add to its existing routes to Milan, Rome and Alicante and three destinations in Romania

Romanian airline Blue Air has announced another new route out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) – flying to Palma de Mallorca for summer 2018.

Flights will start on June 2 with twice weekly departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays through to the end of September 2018. Reservations are now available. 

Liverpool became Blue Air’s eighth European base earlier this year with the basing of one of the airline’s 189 seat Boeing 737-700 aircraft at LJLA and this new destination for the adds to its existing six routes from Liverpool to Milan, Rome and Alicante and three destinations in Romania.

Majorca is a favourite summer sun destination for North West holidaymakers and Blue Air’s flights are expected to be very popular. To celebrate the announcement of the new route, Blue Air has also announced they will be running a flash sale from today until Sunday allowing passengers to enjoy 15% off all flights from the UK.

Tudor Constantinescu, Blue Air’s chief commercial officer, said: “To be able to announce a brand-new route less than 12 months after our arrival at Liverpool John Lennon Airport is something that we are very proud of.

“It has been an incredible year and we are delighted with the response that we have received from our passengers.”
